Fluorescence light sources

  • A fluorescent lamp is filled with mercury vapor and a noble gas and the inner surface is coated with a fluorescent coating. This coating will emit visible light when short wave UV light – generated by the gas-discharge exited mercury atoms – hit the coating. The fluorescent lamp produces more light than an incandescent lamp. Also heat production is much lower. Contact us to help you find the appropriate illumination for your needs.
